Homestay w/ Souda Family! They were so AWESOME. Nana-san and Akira-san are so kind to open there home to me and made me feel welcome from the every moment I met them. They are so cute together. I admire the way they are a team!

I absolutely love Mio-chan and Nagi-chan! They are so kind, cute, and smart. I loved playing with them, learning from them, and teaching them.

I hope to see them again really soon and I definitely want to visit when I come back in the Fall. <3

The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. This museum as art dating back to the first recorded civilization of Japan, Jomon! This is a Fire Jomon pot. It is really cool. So was a lot of the other stuff including the Sumari awesomeness

Tsukiji Fish Market. Tsukiji Fish Market is the largest in the world. All of the seafood that goes to Tokyo and the surrounding areas pass thru this place every morning. You have to weary of vehicles that will run you over but you get to see giant tuna, strange sea creatures, and fish eggs still INSIDE the fish (as depicted above). Haha It was a pretty interesting place then I eat fish sushi for breakfast :)

Shirokane Elementary School.  Tuesday we spent the day at Shirokane Elementary school, just down the street from the University where we have classes. The children were so great and the parent volunteers that helped translate for us were amazing. The children had a whole presentation prepared for us in the gymnasium, which included but was not limited to them singing “Hello Goodbye” and trivia gyms. Then we each went to different classroom. In my lovely class the children taught me how to play six traditional Japanese games. They asked me tons of questions including why my hair was like this…then proceeded to try to do the same to there hair (including the boys haha). It was really cute and I had a really good time with the children. I hope to visit them when I come back to Japan
